Hi everybody,
Does anyone happen to know where I could get hold of some free compound cutting ornaments? If not, its not a problem.

I don't know of any free ones but if you would like I can get some links for some inexpensive ones. The people here at fox chapel have several books for sale on the subject by Diana Thompson.

Hope you can use these. These take 1 1/2" Square of wood, fold on center line. re-sizing may be needed. Enjoy.

Thanks smitty, have you tried to make them a little smaller to get away from gluing up wood? If so are they still cuttable or are they to fragile?

No, I have not tried them smaller, They are pretty fragile at this size. I have the luxury of getting the 1.5" x 1.5" wood at my work at no cost.

Thanks. It just adds a lot of time when i have to glue up for 1 1/2" stock but they are impressive when done. I'm still trying to find a supplier of nicer woods in the thicker stock locally. Small town is hard to do.
