I got myself a new car a couple of days ago and i know this may sound strange but I was wondering if i could get a pattern for it, purely as a fun project for me to do over the Christmas period.

HDU doesn't "fuse" or repair itself under heat or friction. Only acrylics and some PVC materials do that. Depending on what part of the world you are in, you would have to google HDU Distributors...-
