        Basicallly speaking, you can just find a suitable Font and print it to the
        size you need. I don't know what fonts Linda used for her examples.
        The second one she used will have to be fine tuned to eliminate the
        fall-outs. (Floaters)

          As spirithorse said...or you could just add a bar to the bottom of the second one and mount it on a base, or even make it free-standing.

            Linda - what font did you use on the first example please? It looks like a font that would be easily cut, without worring about floaters.
            Thanks,
            Bob

                  The first font is called scroll script. I got it from Sylvia Mendiola on an old MSN site. The second one is called Loki Cola.

                      Name cut-out:::

                      Bob, you didn't say if you wanted the name to stand or mount it on a base? I have made several free standing, from 3/4 in. Oak. I just have the person I'm making it for, sign their name with a magic marker & make adjustments to the actual cut-out pattern. Some I have included a base in the name for some of them & it is all one piece. Here is an example of one.
