    thank you bob, i thought that was the case, but, just never found out the true rights. The law is so deep, it's difficult to know everything about it. Thanks so much. Larry

      just a quick question. If i took a picture of a singer personally and wanted to get a pattern made so I could make a birthday present for my daughter would that be ok or no?? Thanks in advance

        Depends on the singer. You may still have to get permission. However, if you made it as a gift I would not be too concerned.
