With the flat surface of the box I would think that chip carving would lend itself well to this. Ask your Grandpa about any special words or sayings that are appropriate to a wedding from your ethnic roots. This could be done in the original foreign language of your family.

It wasnt recently carving butr my uncle made a special box for use at all the family weddings. Its shaped like a old fashioned church, and the roof lifts off to get the envelopes out.I Cut It Six Times And It's Still Too Short!!!

After 19 years, my Hegner is still running like new and I couldn’t justify the expense. It was a “want” and not a “need”....

Reply to Shawl pinsby will8989Good idea Scott. Also, my daughter has long, curly hair. She twists it up and around and sticks a pencil in to hold it. I also stick a dowel in my hair when working and my hair gets in my way and I twist it up. The one in this picture would perfect for thick hair.
