  • Hi from new member in Arizona

    Hi all,

I am a 71 yr old retired guy in Arizona with a fair amount of wood shop experience.

I am maybe a bit above novice when it comes to scrollsawing. I have a RBI Hawk 24” and most other wood shop tools. I have tried a scrollsaw thing or two and am now going to try a gear clock.

I got a book with 6 patterns and am going to give the Compact Gear Clock a try. In the book it mentions this forum, which is how I found this forum.

    Jim

Yeah….. I have done enough that I know I can do it. The only question is how exacting I can be.. Hopefully it will come out nice. Time is not a problem and I have a good saw, so odds are that within a year I will have it done.
