  • Greetings From lcoble

    Hi Guys & Gals
I got my first scroll saw for Christmas and am addicted. Been lurking here for a few weeks and have learned a lot about the hobby from everybody here. My biggest problem is that I have so many things I want to do that I don't know where to start. Also learning about blade size and saw speed for different types and thickness of wood ..My wife is now a shop widow but she doesn't mind..Yet
My latest is a lighthouse that I will try to post in the gallery.

p.s. Can you give us your first name, it's so much better than being formal all the time.

Welcome to the group Leroy. Good to hear you're not lurking in the shadows any more. I think there are laws against lurking. This is the bunch who can help you with questions. Sounds like you may have the same saw as mine.

We do one consignment event a year. It is at a local farm museum the three days after Thanksgiving. We just drop of our stuff and they set everything up. The fee is $60 up front to pay for the cashiers and the 20% on the sales. I just mark up my items to cover the fee. We pick up the remnants the following...

I used poly on the live edge too,...
