  • Hello to all members

I am new to scroll saw wood working and wood working message board also typing which I am not good at. I am retired for 12 years now and am starting a new hobby in scroll saw wood working. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and have sense my seperation from the military. My first love is motorcycle riding my wife and I have riden and camped every state in the continental USA and had some great times doing it,but were I live that is not a winter time sport so on to something inside out of the snow. I am not sure I know My way around this system so hopefully this will get out there.

Welcome Wes... I too enjoy riding, Alaska isn't the best place for year round riding either, but I sure do take advantage of the time I get to ride, I'm over 800 miles already this season, and we still have snow! I'll tell you the best thing I've seen - this is no joke - I saw a guy on his motorcycle with a snow board strapped on the back - now that's dedication. Anyway scrolling has made the winters a bit more bearable the past few years, been here the last 27 years and the winters just keep getting longer and longer.

Hope you enjoy the scroll saw - be sure to post pictures!

Sorry to hear that Scott. Bruce had it but I never did. And I try to isolate from Bruce whenever I can. ūü§™ We were even around our son and grandson right before they were diagnosed and nothing for us. I guess I overdid the shopping Carole. I tried to sign onto our bank tonight and it is ‚Äútemporarily...

My saw is in a severe state of depression due to alleged abandonment. We have been clearing Becky's office since her retirement. She one of the last two original occupants of that new building in 2001, so it has been a lot of trips to the recycling bin with student thesis files, convention papers and...

Whatever therapy works for you - is a good therapy. Glad your touch/retail therapy was beneficial for you Betty.

Scott, I am so sorry to ear that you and your wife have both had to fight through Covid. I hope this means that you are both on your way to healing, if a bit slowly....
