Hello everyone, I have just signed up to the board. I am new to scroll sawing so, I have alot to learn. I have been wood carving for about a year and thought I would try the scroll saw. All help will be appreciated.

by tgiro01Some folks expressed a desire to see this thing once it was completed. This is the bowl I experimented on, with the little Kobalt miter saw.
The downside is that, I used Hickory for most of the bowl. Hickory is a hard brittle wood but, it also has an open grain, which promptly absorbed...-

by planeurMy first intarsia which is 2 ½ years old, and just before my Heron , took on Pinterest, that I found so funny!
He is 9” X 6” X 1/2”, and the woods used are cherry, elm, ebony, and sapelli on the 25 parts.
Finish with oil tried & true
I like it very much and still...-
