G'day all my name is Mark I have always wanted to get into Scroll Sawing but for what ever reason hadn't got around to getting a saw, so the other while my mum was getting scrap book items from a factory in Melbourne I noticed a Hawk Saw 220vs (Ultra) was there still it was there the last two times we went to said factory.. so this time I asked if the saw was for sale and guy said make an Offer so I had $100 on me and he took it ,after he was amazed I got it into the back of my Hyundai excel (I took the legs off it). it came with 160+ Univ # 3 blades ...about 36 Univ #7 and 24 Uinv #12 blades ... so the costs of the blades alone would probably be more then the $100.. so far i have done two projects .. one is a Giraffes head (sadly I used a wrong blade and the wood broke on the right ear ) .. and today I did that Diggers pattern that John B upped.. keep in mind i've only been doing this exciting new hobby since Tuesday 10th April (14th April as I type this ).. I also turn pens and make picture frames ...

oops the wood I used both times is Huon Pine and about 8mm thick

So thats about it from me for now look fwd to making some great friends on these boards

      Really nice work.
Pacifism is great, as long as everyone is participating.
