  • Another New Scroller

Hi all! My name is Tammy and my dad recently gave me his scroll saw--a Ryobi SC-160, as he has muscular issues and can no longer use it. I'm completely new to scrolling, but, at 48, I'm very excited and anxious to really get into using it. I'm sure I'll be looking at this forum a lot for quite awhile!

Welcome A Board!! You will be hard pressed to find a friendlier or more knowledgeable group on the net re: woodworking. Share your knowledge and do not hesitate to ask questions. The only dumb question is the one that remains unasked.

You may find the stickies at the top of this forum to be very helpful. Use the Link below.

Welcome to the family Tammy. It does not matter what age you start at. It is very addicting once you get started. Take photos of your work and please share with us. Keep a couple of your first cuttings and compare them to what you are cutting in a few months. Again Welcome. Steve
