Hello from Montana
Hello all. I am setting up a shop to follow a passion I have had. I retired last year, and am finally getting around to setting up a small wood shop. I was going to get a Craftsman scroll saw, but after studying what I could find on the net, I am changing my choice to ether Dewalt 788 an Excalibur 16" or 20". I am hoping to get a saw I will not have to upgrade in 3 to 10 years.
My question to all would be advice on which saw. The Dewalt, I can get locally. Excaliburs are available with free shipping, and enclude the stand. I will mostly be sawing interior cuts. Do you think a 20 inch saw is advantiouges over the 16 inch one. I mean with experance, have any of you found you use the extra 4 inches, or you find out after a few years you really want to upgrade to a 20 inch saw?
Any help will be appreciated.Tags: None
