Hello, I just signed up this morning to this forum. I have been doing standard woodworking in my Topeka, Kansas garage shop for 20 + years but just started on intarsia a few weeks ago. Now that's all I'm doing. On my fourth project and and have a few more patterns bought. I will be interested in all the help I can get to become an "intarsian".

Reply to Collapsible wood basketsThank you Karl, I to have seen these baskets at goodwill. I guess the reason they are so cheep is because they are easy to make. To cut your collapsible basket you just tilt your saw table to the left 4 to 5 degrees (for the basket only). For those of you that would like to find patterns check out this...Today, 04:04 PM

You know the sad part about our scroll saw work is where it ends up. I was just a Goodwill and saw a collapsible basket there with a price of only a few dollars.

I bought 11 patterns of collapsible wood baskets from the Cherry Tree back about 1995. They are not copies, they are origionals and some are large.
