Hello from Norfolk Island

Just a quick hello from Norfolk Island South Pacific. Have been a member of scroll saw forum for a while and work kept me busy so didn't post or visit too often.

I am now unintentionally unemployed and now turning my hand to making some items to possibly sell in a market or at least to get some experience. I am looking for advice on cutting circles on a scroll saw.

I have seen some posts but just wondering what the consensus is Jig or Free hand?

If jig what do you suggest for a starter?

I subscribe to the ScrollSaw magazine and love it there is certainly some fantastic work included and very inspirational.
