Greetings from PA. I'm Dave, age 58, and am contemplating trying to scrollsaw. Ive been watching videos, read reviews on tools, getting a look at various machines in the store, in general, doing my homework.

Reply to Collapsible wood basketsThank you Karl, I to have seen these baskets at goodwill. I guess the reason they are so cheep is because they are easy to make. To cut your collapsible basket you just tilt your saw table to the left 4 to 5 degrees (for the basket only). For those of you that would like to find patterns check out this...Today, 04:04 PM

You know the sad part about our scroll saw work is where it ends up. I was just a Goodwill and saw a collapsible basket there with a price of only a few dollars.

I bought 11 patterns of collapsible wood baskets from the Cherry Tree back about 1995. They are not copies, they are origionals and some are large.
