Hello! I'm brand new to scroll saws. I bought a Craftsman saw a week or so ago, tried it once and hated it for a number of reasons. I had already returned one because it wouldn't run at all. I'm returning it this weekend and just purchased an EX16 to replace it. Looking forward to creating some art in wood. I'm sure I'll get some great tips here.

When I started crafting many years ago I bought a little craftsman scrollsaw. It was about $120.00 and didn't last until the water got hot.
Altho I do have a craftsman bandsaw and it has served me well over the years and I love it. Never ....so far ...had any trouble with it.
But that cheap scrollsaw was a waste. And LOUD.

I'm going to get an EX pretty soon...soon as the work is finished and paid for on my shop.I'm not wasting money on anything cheap this time.
