Sounds like a good idea to me also. I loved the last one and would be delighted to attend another.

I for one would RAELLY like to see this happen. I got to meet Kathy Wise at the last Open House and would like to attend one of her talks.

I know the staff at Fox Chapel are all a bit over worked, But I wonder if there are any retired scrollers in the area that would help set something up. There used to be an annual show in Lebanon PA. maybe that club could be approached for help.

I would also love to attend another open house. The last one was awesome. Not only did we get to meet some great people, but the ideas generated were inspiring.

I tired of waiting for an open house so I just drove down and visited the wonderful people at Fox Chapel.

                Dale-

I think so as well. I had ball at the last open house altho I did visit Fox and picked up some books and talked to Bob. And I ain't sayin' that qualifies for an open house.

I too would love to attend another open house. As for the scroller club that used to meet in Lebanon, PA - I'm not sure what happened to them, but they haven't had a show in several years. I miss them as well. I haven't found any scrolling shows close, so I have been adding my scroll work to several local carving clubs.

Maybe Fox Chapel (with the help of friends) could combine an open house and a local scrolling show of some sorts. Just my $0.02

Another Fox Chapel Show would be great! The last Show was the best Scrolling Show that I ever went to.

So many are selling them here it’s not worth us making them. However, we do very well with our dough boards. Nobody else makes them. We have an order for a dough board and matching pepper grinder. The walnut board I could make into a beautiful basket or two and sell for lots more than they are getting...

I did forget to mention he cut a finger on his left hand with the bandsaw. Just took skin off. Lucky again. Told him he was calling 911 next time.

Jim, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the left you’ll find some style options that change the font size and color. I’ve been using Defalt vB5 Style, and it seems to be about the best for my iPad, but I’m still experimenting with my iMac.
