I am on a roll with Carols patterns so I'm thinking about her miniature furniture box collection as my box entry for next year...

          thanks Mike....
we went to the fair with friends so I really didn't get time to go through and look at everything. it took a good 1/2 hour just to find my stuff...
we'll be going back on Friday...

I did get to talk with a couple of the ladies from the fair and they were telling me that the cup cake boxes made a great filler, they must of move them 25 times and they ended up in the bake goods section next to the fake foods

the bear had a good spot but I think they could of found a better spot for the motorcycle....

you remeber the 9 year old boy that I inspired 2 years ago?
I talked to his mom and she said that I created a monster!
I asked if he enter anything? YES and she started telling me about all his projects, there the ones that I judged and gave all the top honors too...

Congrats, Trout! Hope you have room for all those ribbons!

And of course I'm pleased that the cupcake boxes made such a hit, along with your other great work.

Can't wait to see what you come up with for next year.

                      I posted this last saturday...

I talk with a couple of the ladies from the fair and they were telling me that the cup cake boxes made a great filler, they must of move them 25 times and they ended up in the bake goods section next to the fake foods
Mrs.Trout and I went to the fair again yesterday and naturally I had to check out my stuff and to my surprise the cupcake boxes had moved again....
this time they made it to the real food section..

                      cupcakes3.jpg

I just so happen to be standing there when some people came up and the next thing I hear is...
WHAT THE HECK, are those cupcakes made out of wood?

Trout, thanks for posting that photo! That's exactly what I've thought of doing--having a bakery place them with the real things. Really made me smile!

A couple of months ago I ordered the Large Pegas Scroll Saw Table for my EX21 from Denny which I received about a week later. I installed it immediately and made a few test cuts. Since then I have been busy with several Urban renewal projects around house as well putting the yard to bed for the winter....

Back in the late 90's I bought a Incra 2000 Miter gauge. Incredibly precise. The problem was that it only adjusted in one direction, It rarely gets used. It locks in to half degrees. More recently I bought a Kreg fence which has a pin that precisely locates the frequently used angles.

The crafters market here in Kerrville, TX is $25 per 10x10 spot per event. We sell 8 months out of the year, Jun/Jul is too hot, and Jan/Feb is too cold. No insurance requirement but we do have to show a sales tax permit and collect sales tax.

Personally I would never sell in a venue that...

The one I do is under a pavilion on County Property, about 60 spaces. They run 4 “seasons”, spring 6 weeks, summer May - mid September, fall sept to Mid November, and holiday fare Mid November until end of year. Cost is $75 per season, per day as they are open Saturday and Sunday. If you are called...

Ours are run by the state Ag Dept. They have very strict rules as to masks and distancing. The Ag Dept does come and visit to make sure rules are being followed.
