I received mine yesterday. One project I would like to make is the Air Plant holders by Sue Mey. I see that Rolf cut these. What wood was used?

I used Cedar because it was the only wood I had that was thick enough without a glue up.
This is right up your alley since you like compound cutting so much.

Thanks Rolf. I was thinking of getting some Basswood turning blanks.

My copy came on Thursday as well. Interesting projects. I am no sure where to start. Rofl I do have a good source for basswood. If you come back down to NC to visit your son I can get you some.

All I need now is the string for the cable, i needed 8 extra feet. I ordered it on Tuesday so it should be here any time and then I can call this project done.

Then the fun of getting some good pictures of it..

Nice that the hose stores so easily, and the excess power cord stays in place on top. I think I'm going to like my new toy! 😊

Nice going Carole. I purchased the same vacuum last December. I use it on the Jet scroll saw, sandflee, and delta spindle sander. Nice and quite. The AC cord is very heavy duty and very long. I like that the hose does store nicely in the top of the vacuum.
