  • contest entries due now!

It's the final week for contest entries, and we'd love to hear from YOU! We have seen a lot of fantastic intarsia, but not as many entries in other categories as I'd hoped. Do you design puzzles? Send 'em in! Toys and games? Take a picture! Cool compound do-dads? Pop 'em in an e-mail! Entries are FREE and the winners are PAID when we run their patterns in the magazine! Get your entries here by Friday! Send photos and descriptions to: [email protected].

        Mindy,
Just wondering how the process is going to work. Will you be notifying the entrants before the Editor's choices are posted on the web site, or will they find out (when everyone else does) once the People's choice voting begins?

I will send e-mails before the pages go live. I want everyone to see it and go vote!

We received somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 entries. There are some very nice projects--everyone should be proud of their work!

Talked to him yesterday after he was coherent. Very fortunately, it was dc current. He said ac current and would have ended differently. And it wasn’t a house. It was a converter box in a marina located on a deck cut into a 20’ high steep bank. They had to climb a ladder to get to it. And they were...

Wow!!!! That is beautiful. Super job of sawing. If I worked it out correctly it took you less than a minute for each opening especially when I look at the amount of time it would take to saw the outline of the bear. Garry

Thanks guys, I have a lot of HDU left over from my sign business in various thicknesses.
HDU doesn't "fuse" or repair itself under heat or friction. Only acrylics and some PVC materials do that. Depending on what part of the world you are in, you would have to google HDU Distributors...
