  • Offer expires 3-15-11 I'm confused.....

In our latest SSWC magazine issue 46 there an add with a special price 50% off of the New Scroll Saw Wooding & Crafts Archive CD Volume 3 , however it states that the offer expires in 3-15-11.
Would this be a misprint? If not why put a special price when we only got issue 46 this year 2012 to let us know about the special price?

Gloria, if you look at the offer right above that one, for the scroll saw sampler pattern pack, the expiration date is 3/15/12. This makes me think that the date given was just a simple typo.

The numbering of the issues for the third CD is 25-36. That would mean that CD #4 should be 37-48, and would then include the current issue, #46. Still a ways to go for that one.

I'm guessing it is a typo. Good catch. Bob and Shannon will be around on Monday and will be better suited to answer your question.

Ordered the CDs and postage was $5.95 which makes more sense than the postage of last month. Thank you Bob and Shannon.

                I am confused too.

I tried using the code listed in the magazine (endng in "b") on page 14 and I get that this code is not valid.

Is the CD 50% off with the code??? The next offer below the 50% off offer implies that you have to but a book to get the 50%.

It would be appreciated if the publishers could review the add and let me know the terms of the offer.

                Thanks

you have to order what product you want first. You have to have the product in your cart and then go back and add the code and apply.

if it is the code for the CD3 then you have to use the code ending with 3. But you have to purchase something else for it to be valid. I purchased CD 1 and 2 and then I could get CD3 and the discount

I did not want any other product at this time as I already have DVD 1&2.

I have looked at the ad and it does not say anything about having to order another product with the coupon code the ends in 'b' The next offer in the list has coupon code ends in cd3 talks about a book purchase.

I have written to customer service but they have not got back to me yet.

It would be appreciated it someone from Fox Chapel look at the ad and clarify what it means.

I know that the "B" code did not work because when I was ordering I tried it. But because I was ordering the others then code "3" worked which was fine with me.
They will get back to you. I got a response to my question before ordering.

Hi all... The coupon has been reset online to work as the easiest version in the ad. It's been addressed with the marketing team for future ads. Also, the expiration date of 2011 was a typo. Sorry for the delay. Just saw this thread today (thanks Bob) and had to confirm with a few folks.
