Article discussion thread:2009 Best Project Design Contest Voting
No...the voting is still going. Did you click on the "Click here" link on the page the link above takes you to? It will open a new window with the projects.
Thanks for the email Shannon to remind us to vote! I was really impressed by all the different entries quality. It is incredible to see all the different wood work we can do with our scroll saw... there are so many variations! Congratulations to everyone who submitted their entries! I'm glad I had time to submit one project and hopefully next time around I can submit more.

I just voted. Lots of interesting projects, What is interesting to me is that after all this time on the forum I have a pretty good idea as to who designed some of the projects.
I am dissapointed with the fretwork options, I would have expected more considering some of the comments made about the magazine balance this past year. I am however very happy with some of the Intarsia pieces.Love the Great white heron (I think it is a heron) and the boxes.
I will try a fretwork design for next years competition. Time permiting.

I wanted to show a couple of my favourites to my wife last night, but couldn't figure out how to do so without revoting. Is there a way to bypass the voting and just see them?
I'd rather stack the cutting than stack the voting
There was some very outstanding work. It was extremly hard to choose. My hats off to eveyone who entered a project. I know a lot of hard work went into the projects. As far as I am concerned, they are all winners.
Very impressive work. Everyone who entered should be very proud of themselves. It was especially tough to vote in the intarsia/segmentation group, some very nice pieces there.

Everyones A winner in my book, Voting was tough. Cant wait to see who takes the prize. I do have a question. Is it only members that can vote and can the general public view the projects
Thanks for the welcome, heres the quick release I just finished. Hegner wanted my first born for one so I made one.
Also it was missing the Harmonica spring and it was also pricey so I rigged one up.
Works well....
I did receive my copy of the fall issue. and a copy of the puzzle book that I did all of the test cutting for. All 56 of them.
That satiated my need to make puzzles
