    Aha, that explains it. I even did a search for 'fruitwood', hoping to find a definition of some particular wood species and of course there wasn't any. I didn't even realize there was such a thing as Light Cherry finish - everything that I've seen labelled as Cherry is always the dark Queen Anne look. But then if they call Light Cherry 'fruitwood' .... no wonder people are confused!
    It's a shame though that many people are probably, as I was, under the impression that 'fruitwood' is .. well... a type of wood!
