While waiting for some glue to dry I did this bird house. Maple top and cherry bottom. 20181123_165321 (Small).jpg

RJ yes I have turned a bunch of pens and also small egg shaped kaleidoscopes. I initially made a few perfume pens they did not catch on or sell. I made a few seam rippers, they did reasonably well. For pens I like working with the acrylics. I have also done a few bowls.
I started with a very used Jet 1236 with the reeves drive. Completely rebuilt it then gave it to my nephew. Bought a Nova DVR XP. Wow what a difference that made.

I find turning to be a nice break from the scroll saw now and then.

Beautiful as always, Rolf. I was at a wood turning shown, in Virginia, a couple of weeks ago, and there were a lot of demos on small boxes and items. Kind of picked my interest a bit, when I get tired of intarsia and go back to the lathe.

            I love my XP DVR.

Bruce: what’s it doing in the bank? Me: seriously? He went to the carpenter shop where the sawmill is for Elm and...

Sorry, I totally missed this question, for CorelDraw, crop you pattern to the edges on all sides, then scale the pattern to 100mm x 100mm then export that to PDF. What that does is than anyone can take you pattern then make it fit any coin by just printing to a percentage that matches the size of the...

I have used several different epoxy. I use 5 and 15 minute epoxy for most things. I use the Bob Smith brand from Amazon. I mix it in small pill cups and measure by weight with a cheap small digital scale. One does need to be careful as it is not mixed one to one by weight and you have to check directions....
