Now that is a Great new Tool ,Toy. I think a band saw is a must have tool for scrollers especially if you use a lot of thin woods.
What blades are you going to use?

I wrote down your suggestion of the infinity for resawing. and then my husband ordered an Olsen for tighter curves. Don't have the specs at this moment.

They might get hot, if I don't watch out... But I shall endeavor to be careful!

An awesome saw - congratulations. If your are planning any detailed really curvy things (bandsaw boxes?), you want to look at some 3/16' blades and check out one of these -- http://www.carterproducts.com/band-s...laguna-16-jet1

This one is mine. I have the Photoshop file to prove it too! But the moose that I mentioned was the inspiration. Thinking about doing some more, but have to find some silhouettes that I like first.

I asked Bruce this morning if this is really happening? Emptying cabinets and will start taking down uppers over the week-end! LLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time getting to this point. Budget is great. I still have $1900 left budgeted for the kitchen, not including appliances...
