Me thinks there are a few telephone poles missing from the neighborhoods of Seattle.

            I wouldn't touch that with a 20 foot pole! :

                Re: Forging

There are two types of gas forges; naturally aspirated and blown. The blown variety does use a blower to super-charge the forge. It is easily hot enough to forge weld in as well as very noisy and a gas hog. The naturally aspirated uses the pressure of the gas to suck air into the burner tube and this is the kind I use. Plans for either type can be found on the websites I posted previously. By the way, old auto leaf springs are usually made from 5160 steel which makes an excellent blade for knives, gouges, swords, etc.

                Nice pole, Rick.

That's for reminding me about leaf springs. If I remember right, I've got a pair off an old 68 Mustang next to the firewood pile. When this rain lets up, I'll have to see if they're still there.

                    Ed,
The Chevy was a (spare parts car) when my oldest son was into bouncing cars. He actually won a trophy for the highest bounce at a show once.

The little guy is one of my grandsons, he's about nine now.

Well, don't guess I'd better call him cute anymore he probably wouldn't take to kindly to it ... the Chevy still looks good though.

Great work and patience needed to pull off these smaller toys. You did a fantastic job! I really like them.

I'm curious to know what type of paints you use if you don't mind sharing the brand name.

Nice precise work Alex, as always from you.

I also find Celtic these designs fascinating due to their intricacy and geometrical symmetry but I doubt I have your patience to cut them!

                        Well done!

Bstark, take a look at out simple table setup that I have posted in Bettys posting. This fair is an annual fund raiser for our churches women's group. So I pay for two 8 ft tables (so I don't need to bring any) A couple of nice table clothes and I put shutters on each end and made special shelves...

RJ actually that room was an add on to our sanctuary it was meant to be a Gym and the shutters where to protect the windows. I has never seen a basketball since it was built in 2001. Our pre school uses it and we use it for many events plus we rent it out for private use....
