    Hi all,

Well this is it, tomorrow (Monday) is surgery day for me. I've been on 3 weeks of liquid protein diet, and have lost a little over 14 pounds so far. So my liver should have shrunk enough to give the suregeon room to work in order to install the Lapband around the stomach.

I'll be in the hospital for a couple of days, and under some good pain killers (hopefully) for a little while after that, so I wont be here for a little while.

I'd be lying if I told you I'm stress free, but my surgeon has done many of these procedures and has a good reputation.

    Talk to you soon,
    Marcel

Marcel, thank you for telling us when youre surgery is. If it's ok with you, I'll keep you in my prayers. Surgery is never easy for us to accept without being stressed out over it, but hopefully with your doctor's experience he can set your mind a little more at ease. Please, let us know how your progress goes, even if it's a quick note here and there. Stay well and think happy thoughts. Everything will be just fine!

                Thank-you all,

And prayers are definitely welcomed. Any word put in with the Big Guy is Ok with me. He sometimes listens (You just have to be careful what you ask for)

Well, I gotta get me to bed, I think a sleeping aid will be in order tonight.

I will update you on my status as soon as I can.

Ours are run by the state Ag Dept. They have very strict rules as to masks and distancing. The Ag Dept does come and visit to make sure rules are being followed. Linda - Here is my gimmick for the Incra 1000SE on my SS CNS. I scratched a line 3/4-inch in from the blade end of the fence. I then use a ruler to set that line 1-inch from the side of a carbide tooth on the blade. Then I line the 1-inch mark on the fence ruler to the scratch line.

It was a tough choice on the miter gauges---based on recommendations here. I researched the Kreg and the Incra. They were pretty much tied. I let fate decide it. Went into my nearest 2 hardwood stores. #1 sold Kreg, but they were out of stock and didn't know when an order would come in that...
