I wasn't aware of the situation but I'm delighted that everyone's pooling their talents and helping out. Fingers crossed for the happiest of outcomes !
Good to hear this Neal, its still a long tough road, but a road that will be guided by many of us! Congrats on the fundraiser, sounds like it went really well. Dale
Neal, Iam so glad too, what a releef. I wonder with your statment
Faith is a powerful medicine in and of itself and your friendship and spiritual support have been a significant contribution to this outcome. Give yourself a big hug from Bett' and me!!! I'm going to try to design and build a nice sign or plaque for inside the fire house and welcome any input and ideas in that regard.

Great to hear that news Neal, I have been wondering if you had heard anymore. I am so glad to hear this. They are still in our prayers and will remain there. Thanks for the update. Steve
Some of you are were aware of my girlfriend, Betty's, brother being diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months ago. He underwent a series of Chemo treatments and all the brothers and sisters were tested as possible bone marrow donors. None were a match. He is now in remission and over 200 donor matches have been identified worldwide. Our local volunteer fire department granted us the use of the fire house yesterday for a benefit where we raised well over $5000.00. In addition to the auction and raffels we had four different Bluegrass bands who donated their time and talent and several individual singers. Betty and I want to thank all of you who kept Robert and the family in your prayers.
Thank you Karl, I to have seen these baskets at goodwill. I guess the reason they are so cheep is because they are easy to make. To cut your collapsible basket you just tilt your saw table to the left 4 to 5 degrees (for the basket only). For those of you that would like to find patterns check out this...
You know the sad part about our scroll saw work is where it ends up. I was just a Goodwill and saw a collapsible basket there with a price of only a few dollars.
I bought 11 patterns of collapsible wood baskets from the Cherry Tree back about 1995. They are not copies, they are origionals and some are large. I do not know the laws well enough to know if I can share copies of these plans with members of this grpup or not. What I like about these baskets is that...
