Seriously Gill - many happy returns - have a great birthday - as they say in Yorkshire you're still "nobbut a kid"

            I'm also a fibber .

21? Well, if the computer says I'm 21, it must be true. Computers never lie .

Seriously, thanks for the good wishes.

Wow, Gill is finally entering adulthood. You can come over to Minnesota and drink legally tomorrow. First one is on me.

Hope your 21st is your best ever.

                  Happy Birthday Gill!

And can I say thanks for the particular support you gave me when I first posted questions about scrolling over on the UK Workshop forums? You are a true star of the hobby, and I bet I'm not the only potential scroller who would have fallen by the wayside without your encouragement.

                  Have a really great day!

PS And to think you were already an accomplished scroller at the age of six, after your earlier career as a child prodigy in marquetry...

After gluing them to the board, he drilled stainless screws through the lip into the board and made plugs to fill the holes. The board is 3/4” thick. Since he only has 4 large Bessy...

I remember Russel well. I think he went back to the days of Free4all.

FYI: I just completed an index of the Charity Ornament book from SSV and Birchbank designed quite a few ornaments.

Denny, you are correct, his name is Russell. While he may not have been here in years, he pops in at the Village forum from time to time. I just checked and he hasn’t been there since July. I would suggest that you send him a PM perhaps through the Village and see if you get a response.

I think his name is Russel. I checked and he was last on the forum in 2014. I had a request for one of his patterns. Fortunately I still had a copy. Anyone heard from him?
