  • Santa Came to My House Today !!!

I just want to thank everyone that contributed to my gift box.
I was sure surprised when Barry told me it was coming and tickled pink when it got here.
I don't celebrate Christmas any longer and so there is always a kind of ho hum at my house this time of year . Christmas ( and all the other holidays) are so drab when you are alone.
Kelly, Dale,Carl,Barry,Sawduster -- when I saw your orniments it felt like a hug from each one of you. (((( HUGGG)))))))
    thank you so very much
Barry -thank you for my surprise- I LOVE IT !!!!
I will be thinking of you a whole lot in the time ahead.
Aww hells bells I think about you guys all the time anyway-lol
    Thank you so very much-
This is such a beautiful Christmas now.
( even if it is hitting in the high 70s now)
    I LOVE YOU GUYS

    Ho-Ho-Ho!!!

    Excellent news Sharon!

And guess what..........there may be more on the way, but I can't say so I won't......

A huge Merry Christmas from the frozen, and currently snowy, white north!

Sending hugs your way Sharon (sorry, I'm not changing my avatar. I have photo issues).

Barry, please feel free to send some of that wonderful snow down Georgia way. I'm missing it something terrible this time of year. It's supposed to be cold and snowy for Christmas.

Of course, if I still lived in Wisconsin, by the second week in January I would be telling it to go away and wishing for spring.

          Cool --
Tony told the postmaster that the box was filled with baby seal meat -- she really flipped out because apparently it has been there since last Friday night -- I think he like pulling her leg - he came in just busting over with laughter.Needless to say he had to watch every thing being unpacked and even had to " help" on a few-He has as much fun as I do.

Sharon, your worth your weight in gold, with all the cheer and excitement you bring into here. Thank YOU!
And Barry, Thank you for all you do as well.
And Kelly, here in Racine county we had 14 inches of snow in one snowstorm a couple weeks ago, and some of that wonderful subzero temperatures that make the ice bowl what it was. But recently, we hit 60 degrees, and there are only traces of snow on the ground, only where it was drifted high, or plowed into a pile. Even Wilmot Mountain quit making snow for the skiers until it gets cold again. Needless to say, I hope they dont get cold enough to make snow again , at least until November...of 2010!! Merry Christmas! Dale

My apologies Bob, I received your ornament too. It's was very nice job.

So I can vouch for Bob, he does know how to use a scroll saw.

I'm trying to find someplace at home that I can display them all year long. I hate the idea that all those wonderful pieces of art go into a box for so many months.

I like the idea of displaying them all year long. I may make a wooden tree for my shop and place them there.
Each year will be a new tree. I could end up with a forest!

Without the complete schematic it is hard to know what is correct.
That said, it is a multispeed blower that obviously has a controller board. That board varies the power to the motor. By doing what you did you bypassed that. You put power across the low and high windings. If any thing connecting...

If he connected to red and black and the motor spun wouldn't that indicate the motor is grounded? Without connecting the white the circuit isn't complete and the motor should not spin.

The reason for the smoke is incorrect wiring, posible melted insulation between motor windings and motor frame.

You mentioned connecting power to the red & and black wire. Did you do anything with White wire? Per the lable on the motor the black wire is high the Red is low. White common...
