  • Independently Wealthy

I've been on vacation this past week with the hubby.

We didn't go anywhere, just hung around the house, but I must say this is the first time where I've been dreading going back to work. It got to be Wednesday and I started counting down how much longer I had before Monday. I've never been this bad after vacation.

It's not that I hate my job. But it's gotten to the point where I much rather would be in my workshop or anywhere else. During my down time at work (which will become very little for the first couple of months of the new year) I find myself designing patterns or coming up with new ideas for things I want to try. Anything but being at work.

I need a sure fire way to become independently wealthy. Anybody have any ideas?

May I suggest to win the lottery -- no wait that won't work- you would just spend it all on tools and wood-- hummmm you could live on love and use your scraps to heat the fireplace-- you may even loose a pound or 2-- or you could just decide to live on the bare nessaties and scroll your little heart out.

I would say, just be happy you are healthy enough to enjoy the joys of going to work everyday and earning your paycheck. Without us working folks paying taxes, how would so many others be able to sit at home doing nothing, watching tv all day, and collecting a free handout. Sure, there are many that really deserve the monetary help, and they are the ones wishing they COULD go to work everyday! Another plus for you is your ability to sneak in a little designing in the downtime. Being a welder, I dont get that option!! Kelly, please send me a job application if your company is hiring!!!! Kelly, a sure fire way to double your money is to fold it over.

I gave up on that thought after trying to make my second million,,,,I gave up on the first million two years ago!
I have settled in on a new concept though. I have come to the realization that I will never be independantly weallthy, so I am willing to be dependantly wealthy instead.
I offer myself out to be adopted by rich elderly people, they can watch me scroll and draw as long as they pay for my needs.
So far I have had no offers but I am hopeful lady luck will come my way.

You must wish upon a star...

May, the 12 blessings be place on you, and may all your wishes come true.

Now, you must remember, to be exra careful as to what you wish for, as the "interpartions of wishes" may not always be what you wish for.
