  • Berry Basket

    Hi Folks,
Has anyone heard anything about Berry Basket? I have ordered tons of downloadable patterns from them and normally they come within hours but my most recent order has been a couple days now and still no patterns. The web site also seems to be down. Could it just be a computer problem or has anyone heard any buzz about them?
    TIA

    Hi Marsha,

I tried to pull up their site, No luck.
I hope they are only having server problems.

They don't come up on my computer either but I would imagine it is only temporary and they will likely be back soon.
I love their system of instant downloads of patterns to my computer and fortunately I have many dozens of their pattens saved to my hard drive. It is so nice to just click on a pattern and print it out. Many of my best sellers have been from their patterns.
I hope we see more pattern suppliers providing that service over the years. Saves all the S/H charges and waiting time by snail mail to receive them .
That was why I loaded up a file with a whole bunch of them just in case they went back to the old system.

I just wish The Wooden Teddy Bear would catch on. I was interested in trying a couple of their leaf patterns but spending $5 for shipping on a couple patterns kinda turns me off.

This is a real bummer, I love their patterns, and so easy to get. Does anyone have a phone number, where I can call them.
Whatever happened to their system, had to be sometime Sunday. I received confirmation of my order on Saturday, but nothing since then.

                Contact Info

I am on their mailing list and their contact info is at the bottom of that. Since I was gone for the past month, then with my computer crashing on me just before I came home, I haven't noticed if the emails have stopped or not. I just got my computer up and going again a few days ago. Luckily I managed to save all of my data and only ended up losing a little bit of my email when I was gone.

                Anyways, here's the contact info:

I just thought I would update my query regarding Berry Basket. I was able to send them an email, thanks to Jim, and apparently their internet service provider changed the system and it crashed the website. They are working to get it back up and running, should take a couple more days.

One issue I found with the insert that comes with the saw was the areas they smoothed for the kickback pawls. If the insert is leveled correctly, those areas are sitting about 1/32-inch below the table. I had a problem with some small pieces getting caught and jamming because of that. Sawstop's recommendation...

That is a definit rescue for a special project. I rarely get or use any pallet wood. But did use some from the pallet that my drill press was on. It looked like pine but was was very hard, carefully checked for nails and ran it through the drum sander with some 80 grit to get rid of any small grit.

I wish I could post the video as it looks better with the lights blinking. I used some red clear plastic behind the eyes and nose. It was a fun project.

Maybe a star shining to tell us something? That piece of wood is a very special piece! Good eye.
