Been having lottsa issues with "scrollsaw site for about a month......usually someone elsesname shows as already logged in....have to clear it and restart 2-3 4 times.......then i get a very presistat advertisement for a FREE COPY of scrollsaw and woodworking magazine...takes a few restarts to get that off the screen.......THEN i can usually get to the "recent posts" kinda irritating if i'm in a hurry or pressed for time.......

That kind of sounds like a virus/adware/spyware problem, Dave (the login part). The popup shouldn't be doing that, though. Can you see the "X" to close the ad? That ad should also only come up once a month or so...
What system and browser are you using?

Hi Rob - I noticed yesterday and this morning that when I logged in to the forum and immediately went to the New Posts listing the new posts showed. If I then immediately logged out and then logged back in and went back to the New Posts lists I got an error message pop up saying there had been no new posts since my last visit.
Logically I suppose this is correct but I always thought that new posts would remain in the listing until I visited them. Can someone correct me on this one?Jim in Mexico

I am a Firefox user. I get the free copy pop-up every time on both my home and my work computer. However, that seems to be the only issue I have. I get news posts - at least there are new ones whenever I sign on - and I am able to post - again from both home and work. The 'free copy' pop up just isn't annoying enough for me (I know flies that are much much more annoying) but when I saw your comment thought I'd let you know that it is happening down here in southern NM, too.

Reply to Picked up a new toy yesterday!by jim_mexHi Rolf - I bought the Marietta through Amazon Mexico. I never thought to check if it showed on the US site. I use both of these sites quite a lot but where possible buy through the Mexico site even if items are listed as being imported because import duties and delivery charges where applicable are...
