My wife and I rescued this Yellow Lab today, she and her sister were hit by a car,her sister was killed, so far she is doing well.
Sara is 2 years old.
She looks so sad...
I think I see her missing her sister in her eyes...
Looks like she found a special place to be...
I think you're both lucky to have found each other..
I agree, Labs are great dogs...

Bless you Bob. My wife and I take in hurt dogs and cat and have for years. We have 10 dogs and 19 cats we are caring for right now. Most of the dogs will stay here, but only 8 of the cats are ours. We have and inside/outside large enclosed area for the cats to heal. Some of the dogs are shop dog (my shop is open on one end) and other small ones live in the house with about a 1/2 acre for them to run and play in. Thank goodness the vet works with us on operations and meds. I just love to see others take in animals and give them a good home...puppies are easy to find a good home for, but the older dogs are a bit harder. Our oldest dog is 19 this year.
You will be blessed as you bond with the lab. They are great dogs, very loving and loyal. I would be lost without the Weimaraner that I adopted. He has pretty much taken over everything. Had a problem at first with separation anxiety but he has decided now that I will be back although sometimes he lets me know that he could have gone too (finding trash scattered or the dirty clothes basket emptied).
Way to go, Bob! I'm sure she will reward you with much love and devotion. Most rescue animals seem to have the ability to demonstrate their appreciation for your care.

Thanks for all the warm comments.
We lost our Golden almost 3 years ago and needed another friend.
The guy that use to have her wouldn't pay for the operation, so PAWS took her.
Thanks again Bob

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me!
The Hegner like some other saws have a sweet spot or not so sweet spot where they may vibrate. I know they need to have a solid footing.
When we were younger (2005) we used to bring our saws to our club meeting in an old barn with wooden floors. The seasoned scrollers all had Hegners. The rest...
I assume you are talking about changing the stroke length. Looking at the manual it says you can shorten it for cutting thin wood and or metal. I have never known anyone that did that. We have several Hegner owners in our club. I am not one of them.
Has anyone replaced the eccentric on the Hegner scroll saw or made any adjustments to this part.
I bought an used Hegner m22 and it vibrates at about 3/4 speed. Maybe I'm just over thinking this problem, last year I purchased a multi cut 3/25 inch Hegner it is a single speed and it runs like a...
