Wishing you a Happy Birthday pal - and be careful - those you remember are the best LOL.

Hi friends - thanks for the well wishes

This morning I started my birthday bright and early by blasting the condominium with Beethoven's 9th Choral Allegreto, Ma Non Troppo - Presto. Boy, that guy sure knew how to get the blood surging first thing in the morning!

Today I'm being spirited off at midday by a couple of factory friends and their wives to a small trattoria somewhere on the outskirts of Verona for a birthday lunch . Chocolate cake is sure to be the order of the day. So much for the diet I started this week!

The best birthday present, however, will be getting on that plane in 2 weeks time and going home to my family.

And for all you scrollers out there who sometimes lament about having too many birthdays, here's my take on the event.

Welcome! John! From Reno NV. A long time 788 user (I'm94) I'm sure you will get many happy hours from the repairs you placed on the machine.

I'm 74, retired from the commercial dimensional advertising world. (carved and routed signs).
I've always used the Roto-Zip, band saw, or other tools to make my projects. (wishing many times I had a good scroll saw). Well, I finally found an old DW-788 that the original owner said "it finally...

I use acrylic paint mixed with water to stain when I want vibrant colors. There was an article in one of the issues awhile back where a product called "Unicorn Spit" was suggested for the colors---and many people swear by it....

Oh my gosh Betty....Your son is fortunate to be alive. How badly stung was he by the hornets? Electrical shock is crazy dangerous. Wow.
