Thanks for your concern but my house is about 15 miles south and west of the fires.
They are now mostly out, fortunately no loss of life and only a few injuries, 3 houses and one comercial property.
One of the early fires burned a few acres at work, about a mile away from my building. The national lab I work at has about 5000 acres most of which woodlands.

Our Club used to have a Buss trip from Long Island Every year to the show. That was a lot of fun! I always went with a pocket full of cash to buy wood and tools. Sadly we have not done it for many years now. The vendors can't make any money between travel, booth fees, and hotels.
As far worthiness, I purchaseed the PEGAS table (for my 8+ year old EX21) frrom Denny a couple of years ago. It was well worth the cost as it changed the performace dynamiics. My EX21 had a severe vibration when running the saw above 80% of the speed range, The PEGAS Mod table damped the vibration....
