Cataract Surgery

Recently had cataract surgery on my right eye and doc says no scrolling for about two weeks! I cannot believe the difference in colors and I can see without my trifocals!! I will have the left eye done May 9 so another two weeks of down time. Oh well, it will be worth it all in the end and I can make a lot of dust this summer!

I just had the second cataract removed about a week ago. Your doc is much more conservative than mine. I was back to scrolling wearing goggles after the first few days.

The difference in sight and color perception are amazing. Enjoy! It was well worth the time and effort for me. The hardest thing for me is not putting on the glasses automatically.

After wearing glasses for 60+ years I had cataract surgery in 2003, could not be more satisfied with it. Still have to use reading glasses for little print but it is worth it. You will love it when you get both eyes done.

Encouraging news from you people who had cataract surgery
I have to go for a second consultation about my right eye which requires cataract
surgery apparently my left eye is near perfect I have been told that treating the right eye might unbalance the other, so I am a bit apprehensive.

I had the surgery on both eyes about 3 1/2 years ago and it is so nice to watch tv and drive without glasses. Also not having to have new expensive glasses every other year. I have several pair of reading glasses for doing different things.

It's great to hear good news. I'm happy for all of you who had the surgery & are doing so well. I will have to have my eyes examined again soon, & new glasses again. I'm having some blurring, reading the fine print on TV. Otherwise I'm just due for glasses, I THINK. Take Care All
