Evelyn looked out our living room window this morning (about 10am) to see this. A car in our front yard with it's front wheel over the edge of a ditch. From what we can tell he drove through our yard thinking he could drive back on the road. He did see or know about the ditch. The police office I talk to said the drive was drunk so we guess he didn't see the ditch. The office said you got to love it, I just had to laugh. Oh the thrid picture is at the edge of the ditch. It about a 6' drop off.

Glad no one was hurt. Once a drunk neighbor ran into our jeep and pushed it right up onto our front porch. Another time an elderly lady ran into our hedge, bounced off and hit a telephone pole. We picked up the pieces of her car and tried to talk her into coming in and using our phone, but she got back in the car and drove off losing coolant all the way. She told us her son was a mechanic and she was headed for his house. We took the hedge out and put up a fence. Wonder if that was a good move. I think a ditch would of worked better, seeing your pics!

It's really scary that somebody can be drunk enough to go that far off the road, isn't it? Of course, the driver could have been texting as well.....that seems just as bad these days.
Well, good thing nobody was hurt.
I like the moat idea. Crocs are too friendly, though. Jeremy Wade suggests using one of these.....they are much more effective! Plus they live in freshwater!

The fella in the picture is Jeremy Wade, "biologist and extreme angler" from the TV series River Monsters. That particular beast is the African Tiger Fish. Not something to keep in the kids' swimming pool, that's for sure.
