  • Happy Birthday Rhys (hobbyhorse)

Hi Rhys - not sure what day it is over there in Kiwi land but a little bird told me it was your birthday sometime around now.

I was going to buy you some candles to go with the cake but there were so many of them I decided they would look better lit up in front of the altar in the local church!

Anyways, hope I catch you with this message.
All the very best mate. Make sure Jan spoils you for the day.

                Morning all,

What a very pleasant surprise it was to find this thread on the forum. Thankyou all for your birthday wishes.

January is a busy month in our family with Jan's birthday on the 12th, our golden wedding on the 20th and my birthday on the 26th ... I get the feeling it is time for a holiday.

                Thanks again,

                Rhys

Welcome Ian from Reno Nevada! Glad to have you aboard. Some saws can be frustrating, and others we love. Lots of help available here.

$35 was a great price no matter what. Bruce definitely scored big time. And by the same token, the wife found new homes for her hubby's stuff that she had no use for. I'd rather sell cheap to someone who may actually use them than any other purpose.

After cleaning the wheel and going through the drawers he found all the attachments/tools that came with the grinder. He priced everything and it was $500 plus. A member was selling the tools tor the wife of a member whose husband died last year. You think SLRA is picky with measuring, you should see...

Yes, there is a market for the original. I think there are a couple other FL scrollers on this site. There are also a few on the Scrollsaw Village site. I would try scroll saw sites before I attempt Facebook Market Place or Craigslist....
