  • Quiet weekend

Things are quiet online with the openhouse going on.
I can't wait to see some pictures.

Alas Carl, I was unable to make it as well so I've been surfing and reading. Of course, there's a few things I wish I hadn't read that I took personally and was very insulted by. I had typed a whole long diatribe here but decided to delete most of it.
At least now I know where not to post and where I'm not welcomed.
Anyhow, time to get back to counting cuts and posting pics in multiple forums,

Oh dear, Kevin. I'm so sorry. Please accept my apologies.

            that's why...

I stick to one fishing forum and one scroll saw forum...

I'm spending this weekend getting ready for next weekend, it's our fishing get together and we'll be heading out of here on thursday morning for 4 day's of drinking, eating, socializing and fishing...

the salmon have arrived so it should be a killer weekend for fishing..

Kevin -- I hope it isn't this forum you got hurt on- I don't think anyone here would hurt you intentually but I can't say that it wasn't-- I believe with all my heart that this group would not intentually hurt anyone in our group---- If you want to re-write your post here and blow off steam we will be here foryou.. with a cool glass of lemonade when you are finished and a hug to make you feel better. I will not post nor read any other sites but this one but I do belong to two more I look for patterns on.
So Bro if you want to vent then please feel free to vent- we will listen and support you.

                  Sharon,
If I gave the impression that it was this forum then I apologize. I appreciate the friends I have made here and this is definately one of of my favorites. Thanks for the support though!
I do belong to a whole bunch of forums and see no harm in having multiple sources of information. At the same time, I also see no harm in belonging to just one forum. I post regularly in a few, and will often post cuttings in 2 or 3 of them.
I should have said I was surfing and reading.

                    What ?

                    This is outrageous!!! Completely despicable.

I hate it when other people upset you, Kevin .

                    That's my job.

It has indeed been a quiet weekend. I just sat down after getting the household to bed and was reading through the posts. I suppose the whole open house is over now, still wished my original plans to attend were not changed. Pouting.

I did get the chance to do some work today, finish up a pet memorial and remembered back to doing so many of them. I was pleased with this one.

I am ready for my next issue of SSWC, and the opportunity to work out a couple patterns in it.

Hope those who didn't get the opportunity to go to the open house have some fun this weekend.

                      Take care

Well Carl, I've been out all day. We had a Jr. High cross-country meet 2 hours away (Caleb had is best time beating his old time by 2 minutes)... then got back in time for a 4th grade football game (where Josh had 5 tackles, one sack and a great goal line stand.)

Then we got back in time to finish cutting the pieces for my 240 sq. ft. wood storage bin. (I hope to assemble tomorrow.)

Then... got to watch The Ohio State University beat the snot out of Iowa Hawkeyes.

I miss those highschool track days.....not mine but my kids.
We had a sprinter, a hammer thrower and a racewalker.

My wife and I were the cheering section. Sometimes we drove an hour for our son to have an 11 second race

That was Before Scrolling. It is a wonder you can juggle it all.
