Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas thus far and that it continues for the rest of the evening! With all of the hard work I've seen on here, and knowing the amount of dust my son and I have been feverishly kicking up in the shop the past few days trying to complete all of our orders and requests, I am sure there were a whole passel o' folks that got some mighty big smiles on their faces because of the things y'all made for them. That just might be the best present I got this year - seeing some of those smiles, and thinking about the others I couldn't be there to see.

by Sandy OaksFour Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments finished and ready to display. The birdhouses are Ash and the little birds are Purple Heart. I used Pegas #7 Skip blades on the birdhouses and #5 Skip blades on the little birds. The finish is dipping in Shellac further diluted with 50% denatured alcohol. Reply to What do you think?by Gary beasleyI tried a house vac once for a dust collector. It was prone to clogging the lines and when I tried to put a cyclone can on it the vacuum collapsed the garbage can.
