John, I know what you are going through. I have had problems getting things from the past, & Arizona is like a no-man's land when it comes to that. I even have to order wood for scrolling, because there are no places to buy it here. Lowes & Home Depot are not worth the bother. Can't get good fish here either. Coarse, my idea of good fish might be different from other people's. Hope you can get a load of it & enjoy it to the fullest. Good Luck

Problem solved. Too bad my idea would not work but it was a shot.

I'll bet if you contact a local small grocer he could order in a case from his distributor for you. So long as you bought the entire case or he may consider carrying it in his store. I know when i managed a small corner grocery store years ago I would from time to time have special requests from customers and would order in items for them.
It sure would not hurt to ask a couple of store managers near you. Try Safeway as well. Let me know if it works for you...k?

Hi John,
I grew up and live near Philadelphia on the New Jersey side. I would be Happy to help as long as you can wait until the 19th of November. I am getting ready to go on vacation and would be happy to send ya some when we get back. Here is my e-mail: [email protected]. You can let me know if you can wait that long. LOL.
Mark.
PS I actually live about 10 minutes from the Campbell's soup plant in Camden City,NJ.

Hey John, You need to take a road trip to Newport Beach in Southern California! There is a restaurant called The Crab Cooker. They serve a Manhattan Clam Chowder that is to die for! They also sell it to go in a one quart container. But alas, they don't ship.

Need help from the East Coast.
I was born and raised in New York City and when I was very young my parents had a local Delicatessen. (Are there any anymore?)
One of the home made specials was Manhattan Clam Chowder. That is the red one, not the New England white chowder.
I cannot find it out here in the West (Arizona) so was wondering if someone on the East Coast would find Campbell Soup Manhattan Clam Chowder, either the condensed or Chunky, or both, and be able to send, say 6 cans, to me. I would be happy to pay for them and the postage.
John

My Greatgrandson came from Iowa all the way to Oregon and ask to set at my scrollsaw for the very first time. I understand he still has that very first piece he cut. His Mother (my Granddaughter) says he can't wait to do it again. (I kept full control of the saw.)...

Just finished something a little different. 9 layers of 1/8" Baltic Birch, each cut with triangle patterns altered and rotated slightly each layer. It creates an optical effect that gets more mind bending the longer you look at it. All cut from the same piece plywood, and all natural. But each...You do not have permission to view this gallery.
