Just got back from a shopping trip and bought myself a new scrollsaw! I got the Excalliber 16" and it was on sale for $499 and then the sales clerk gave me another $50 off! I think I got a good deal and can't wait to get down into my shop in the morning to set it all up and clear out the old dead craftsman! It has been almost a year since I was scrolling last and the itch is back big time! I already have projects glued up and ready to be cut! Wish me luck in finding my way back to civilization!

And oh does she purrrrrrrr! Got her all set up this morning and tested her out. Can't imaging how I used to scroll on the craftsman with all the vibration and noise. Absolutely the best investment I have made yet. Now to get to all the projects on my to do list!SherriComment

Now you will have to dig out all those patterns you have been saving and dust off the scraps of wood laying around....before you know it, you will have dozens of new items cut. Having a good working saw is half the funHawaiilad

And the best part is that my 8 year old son has shown an interest in it too! Yesterday morning he woke up and asked if he could take it for a test run! lol Now he wants to make something for his teacher for Christmas. Now to find some simpler patterns in my magazines for him to start with and I think we have a new addict in the family! Guess I will have to buy another saw!

Sherri, I'm happy for you. That's the kind of shopping to look forward to. I wish they would have had the 16" when I bought my DeWalt. I use spiral blades almost all the time & I wouldn't need the extra depth, but, I'm sure a great saw anyway. Sherri, you are fortunate that you can go in and try a saw or even have a store that sells them. We don't have that kind of store here in Yuma. Lucky to even find wood for projects. Enjoy your new saw & have at it. Take CarePERKComment

by will8989We’re off and running. Starting our farmers market for the Fall this week end, as long as we don’t get the wind and rain they’re calling for Saturday. The baskets are being added to my totes. Very pleased with them. All the wood, except box elder, are from Groff and Groff in PA. I have more of...
