Larry, suede tex is made of nylon and is quite robust which is why it is used in drawers and even on fishing rod handles while the soft flock is made of rayon and is more used in picture making and ddecoration. I have used their suede tex in jewellery box drawers for about 15 years and can vouch for its wearability.

    Cheers,

    Rhys

    DonJer fibers

I had ordered last year from this company and forgot all about it. I found the box with a couple different colors of the Suede-Tex fibers and decided to order a couple more. Once on their website I see they have another product called "Soft Flock" which sounds like the same as what I bought last year...only cheaper. I was wondering which (soft flock or suede-tex) you people that are making the boxes use in yours? Of course I will use what I have on hand, but the reorder is what I am wondering about. Is one better for box drawers than the other?

    Thanks
