I saw that a while ago,

These guys are getting sollicitated to do that on tv + Mentos is approaching them to offer them a publicity contract.

So far the makers of Mentos estimate the internet publicity they have gained from these experiments (there are others on the web) to be the equivalent of $10M. Their normal annual budget is $20M.

Hmmm... $20 millions to advertise candies. Makes me wonder sometimes if the world is sane.
