I agree about the old days.
Personaly I find the reality shows of today far too depressing.
I do not watch very much television anymore. I remember the good old days when Sunday night was Disney night. Those good old films split over to weekends.

Unreality shows, I'd hazard to say...
My wife is addicted to them, she says she likes to watch the people make fools of themselvers....on some level, that in itself is depressing to me.
There are a few more positive ones that I do like (Amazing Race, Nanny 911, Ghost Hunters) but...when she sits down to watch TV, I'll head for my computer games <grin>

It's nice to see someone "scrolling the classics"!
My 10 year old daughter just got her first pets; 2 parakeets.
I said to her, "we should try to teach them to whistle the Andy Griffith Theme song".
"How's that go, Mom?" She said.
