I am looking for some diamond willow to carve walking sticks and would like to try the cactus looking sticks as well. Thanks Dennis

Check out 'diamond willow' on the web, there is a whole swack of info. related to carving walking sticks using willow including material sources. We have alot of it here in Alberta and I've worked with it quite a bit, it's beautiful wood when finished and no two pieces are alike.

You can get diamond willow on this website:
Just email him with any preferences you have (like size, a lot or few diamonds, bark or no bark, fresh cut or already dry, etc.) Don will get right back to you. I think his prices start at around $5. for a stick.
