Profile picture

I have tried all the tricks in the book and the profile pictures I try to load all fail. They are well into the size restrictions and I still can not load a profile picture. I'm able to load project pictures, but profile pictures always "fail to load". Maybe it's because I'm in the pictures? I can handle that reason as long as my wife still likes me. Here are 2 examples of the pictures I'm trying to upload as profile pictures. Can anybody help?
