This site has beenvery slow for the past week. Has anybody in charge know about it. and can they fix it?
I don't have any trouble with another scrollsaw site that I belong to.
It would be nice if Bob or sombody else would keep us up to date about fixing the problem

I think they host at virtacore. I think our moderators should be given the "permission" to call the vendor and work issues.

I think it's that mini teck lite ad at the top of my page. when it showed up that's when the board started slowing down on my end....

it's getting to the point where I don't know if I'm going to get my regular size font or the really small font so now I have to keep my glasses close to the computer..

if it's slow for me, I sure would hate to be on dail up.....

Hi everyone. We are aware of the issues. (I replied to a separate thread - just found this one). We are in the process of hiring some outside help as the normal maintenance and troubleshooting hasn't been working. We will also be upgrading the hosting - although the issue seems to be isolated to the ScrollSawer site at this point. Thanks for the feedback - it does help when looking for the causes.

It seems as those we've been able to speed up the page loads... and it's been holding steady for a while. Please let us know if you experience any more issues.

Did not notice the missing lite. Good catch. The big thing is it works again.

The ad itself was okay... the plugin for the ads was part of the problem. We actually took down quite a few ads and will revisit that part in the next week or two. Thanks to Trout for steering us in that direction.

The Hegner like some other saws have a sweet spot or not so sweet spot where they may vibrate. I know they need to have a solid footing.
When we were younger (2005) we used to bring our saws to our club meeting in an old barn with wooden floors. The seasoned scrollers all had Hegners. The rest...

I assume you are talking about changing the stroke length. Looking at the manual it says you can shorten it for cutting thin wood and or metal. I have never known anyone that did that. We have several Hegner owners in our club. I am not one of them.

Has anyone replaced the eccentric on the Hegner scroll saw or made any adjustments to this part.
I bought an used Hegner m22 and it vibrates at about 3/4 speed. Maybe I'm just over thinking this problem, last year I purchased a multi cut 3/25 inch Hegner it is a single speed and it runs like a...
