  • Board question

Why doesn't this board offer a "quick reply" like the woodcarving message board?

Can we also get more Smilies like they have too?

I spend most of my downtime at work going back and forth and just noticed this morning after all these months that they have the quick reply and more smilies. I've never claimed to be real observant. I'm lucky to make it out of bed and to work on a daily basis, some days I don't remember even getting here.

Being a little slow...not sure if it it an age thing or just being dozy... I tried to post with the quick reply window click all the little icons in this box and getting nowhere, Then I saw the icon on the bottom of each post.
So to help anyone who is as dozy as me here is the icon you are supposed to click.

If you need some more work to do, give us some flags to go with our names to identify what country we are from. Maybe even when someone answers a question the time can be posted in their native time ...6:34 EST, and then you can really go nuts with posting the current temperature If you can pull that off, we'll change your name to Technogod.

I think we should have the option of 2 flags - country of birth and of residence ...

I don't need more smileys, don't need the temperature, don't need a quick reply, (can't see what the difference is anyway). Native time would be cool.
I NEED A "NEW POST" LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THREAD. PLEASE
                      Thanks

OK I just tried the quick reply, it is pretty handy.

The one I do is under a pavilion on County Property, about 60 spaces. They run 4 ‚Äúseasons‚ÄĚ, spring 6 weeks, summer May - mid September, fall sept to Mid November, and holiday fare Mid November until end of year. Cost is $75 per season, per day as they are open Saturday and Sunday. If you are called...

Ours are run by the state Ag Dept. They have very strict rules as to masks and distancing. The Ag Dept does come and visit to make sure rules are being followed. We stand behind the table and use the tailgate for packaging. I have people place their credit card in the reader on my phone and remove...

Linda - Here is my gimmick for the Incra 1000SE on my SS CNS. I scratched a line 3/4-inch in from the blade end of the fence. I then use a ruler to set that line 1-inch from the side of a carbide tooth on the blade. Then I line the 1-inch mark on the fence ruler to the scratch line.

                        Now,...

It was a tough choice on the miter gauges---based on recommendations here. I researched the Kreg and the Incra. They were pretty much tied. I let fate decide it. Went into my nearest 2 hardwood stores. #1 sold Kreg, but they were out of stock and didn't know when an order would come in that...

Nice puzzle. Go for the gusto---scroll it next time!! Several of the quality brands of blades make blades just for acrylics. With a sharp blade and the right speed it's all good.
